about me
Hi, Iβm Eve! I am a yoga teacher and nature guide, based in southern Massachusetts. I seek examples in nature to explore yogic teachings or lend inspiration for our experience. My teaching is informed by ancient wisdom and modern science, with a focus on where the two often intersect.
The teachings of Yoga positively impacted my growth into adulthood when I began practicing at my local studio at 14 years old. Teaching and sharing the joy of yoga became a natural next step on my path. I became a certificated yoga teacher in 2017, with an initial 200hr training with Live Love Teach. In Spring of 2022, I graduated with a 300hr certification with Bristol Maryott and Liz Guardia at the Liberation Yoga School. I am a RYT500 and E-RYT200 certified yoga teacher. I am also the studio manager of Jala Yoga and Art Studio in Providence, Rhode Island. Iβm thrilled to be a part of such a special yoga community in the heart of PVD.
My love of nature started as a young girl roaming the woods around my parentsβ home in southern Rhode Island. This ultimately lead me to pursue a Masters of Science degree in Zoology and Wildlife Biology. Although I no longer do research, my education provided a love and fascination of the world. It is truly remarkable. And, although science explains many things, it cannot explain everything - here is where real wonder begins for me!
I spend a lot of time outdoors; hiking with my dog is my favorite pastime. I also love to travel. I have been blessed with opportunities to meet and know amazing animals and people from some truly beautiful parts of the world. Lately, I share most of my adventures with my husband and golden retriever.
I have a deep appreciation for the natural world and making meaningful connections with all living beings. My hope is that this shines through in all that I do.
